UKG is looking for a passionate Mobile developer to join our team. The Engineer will also have experience with JAVA programming language and be able to work on Application software.
- Has an excellent understanding of programming and testing concepts. Should be able to design and implement modules and frameworks based on requirement
- Has a deep knowledge and stays on the forefront of all development languages and frameworks utilized by our mobile app's and applications (iOS, Android, Cordova, Java,React, JavaScript, SQL)
- Able to work autonomously on complex issues where analysis of use cases, situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors and involves investigating issues and code execution, potentially, across all levels of the application stack, from database to browser, including external libraries
- Demonstrates a well-defined knowledge of design patterns and common algorithms and exercises them in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Quickly and efficiently find robust and effective solutions to difficult development problems
- Perform insightful and constructive code reviews to help maintain and teach proper coding techniques and ensure that your fellow developers are considering all pertinent factors to prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code
- Communicates effectively with other departments to effectively gather information required to perform duties
- Can quickly resolve very difficult issues through analysis of the application code, 3rd party libraries, custom plugin's, customer use cases, and discussion with stakeholders
- Suggest methods and technologies to improve our applications and development practices
- Write Unit Tests and API Integration Tests for new custom features in the product
- This is a hybrid work model and we are looking for local candidate that are available to go into the office 3 days per week* We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor a visa, now or in the future, for this position. This would include an OPT status.
Basic Qualifications - Design and development of Mobile applications on mobile and tablet platforms for iOS and Android app technologies
- Design and development of Mobile apps and UI Application including React, iOS, Android, Java, JavaScript, and SQL Server
- Design and development of Applications which leverage Authentication protocols including SAML, OAUTH 2.0 and various data encryption technologies
- Design and development of Cloud based CI/CD pipelines based on XCode Cloud, Circle CI or Google Cloud Build and of Cloud-based software using Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Docker, Kubernetes Cloud database and cloud storage
Preferred Qualifications - Automated test frameworks (Appium, selenium, Android UIAutomator, REST Assured, JUnit)
- Experience working with Cordova a plus
- BS degree or equivalent experience

The pay range for this position is $109,000.00 to $156,700.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
