Job Description:

1. The main task of the position is to deliver quality product from Molding, in a timely manner.

2. Collaborate with team members and management to Develop, document and implement standard molding processes and methodologies.

3. Train and supervise production Operators on new process and methodology.

4. Performs mould setups, parameter setup, mould maintenance and process troubleshooting.

5. Recommend and improve Molding processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.

6. Troubleshoot molding and material issues. Work with internal and external resources to resolve molding and manufacturing issues and implement short/long term solutions.

7. Develop work instructions to support injection molding processes, equipment, and preventative maintenance for new product and changes to existing product.

8. Responsible for Total Preventive Maintenance. Make sure spare part is prepared and available

9. Plan for the raw materials for Molding consumption based on the production forecast.

10. Perform any and all other duties assigned.

Requirements

Qualification:

1. An Associates degree in Plastics / Plastic Technology/Mechanical.

2. At least 3 to 4 years experience in plastics processing of injection molding.

3. Must assume responsibility for quality of product & productivity of shift and willingness to work extra hours, as needed.

4. Familiar with horizontal injection press up to 250-ton, vertical clamp injection presses up to 110-ton, robotic part and component loading/unloading, automate part handling, vision systems, etc.

5. Ability to manage 4-10 employees.

6. Good verbal communication skills

7. Understanding of Lean MFG principles preferred.
