Basic Job Description: The Airline Services Agent is responsible for supporting both ramp operations and passenger services at the airport. Ramp Agent Responsibilities:

  • Driving equipment
  • Guiding Aircraft in and out
  • Servicing Aircraft
  • Load and unload luggage from aircrafts and other vehicles.
  • Sort luggage according to destination.
  • Ensure that all luggage is properly tagged and labeled.
  • Operate baggage handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Customer Service Responsibilities: Agent Passenger Service performs all aspects including:
  • making reservations, preparation & issuance of tickets & itineraries, checking baggage, collection of excess baggage charges.
  • providing passengers with general travel information; meets aircraft at gate, performs duties at boarding gates when enplaning & deplaning passengers.
  • checks passenger ticket, completes all necessary arrangements for accommodating passengers holding reservations, standbys & their luggage.
  • performs lost & found activities. Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or related field
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and handle baggage weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to input data and use relevant software
  • Familiarity with airport regulations and procedures
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security requirements
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write the English language
