The incumbent is responsible for administering, planning, implementing, and evaluating those activities that deal directly with the provision of high quality reference service from the Division's collections, including selected bound serial collections, government publications, newspaper collections, and other special collections in print, non-print, and various electronic formats, to the Library's many constituencies, including Members of Congress and their staffs, the Congressional Research Service, representatives of other government agencies, the general public, scholars, and academic institutions.
