Staff Accountant - Real Estate/Property Management Group - Center City - $50-60k

Excellent opportunity for entry level/fresh grads with a bachelor's degree in Accounting to jump start your career!!   Seeking 0-2 years experience.

The Staff Property Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of real estate properties. This includes preparing and maintaining financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and managing budgets. The Staff Property Accountant also works closely with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all accounting procedures are followed and that financial reporting is accurate and timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements for assigned portfolio of properties, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank accounts and other accounts payable and receivable.
Process payments for rent, utilities, repairs, and other expenses.
Manage budgets and track expenses.
Prepare and distribute financial reports to property managers, asset managers, and other stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation of annual property budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with property managers and asset managers to resolve accounting issues.
Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in property accounting or a related field. (Internship experience is highly preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with property management software and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
