About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team and play a key role in leading and facilitating Agile practices. This role involves supporting leadership and ensuring the effective adoption and implementation of Agile principles within various business and technology teams. You will work closely with Business Technology (BT) leaders to enhance team productivity and ensure smooth project execution. This is a senior-level position and an excellent opportunity for an individual with a deep understanding of Agile practices who can guide teams through a collaborative approach. Experience with Agile coaching is a plus but not a requirement, and there is no need for a specific technical background.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and maintain project momentum.
Support BT Leaders: Collaborate with Business Technology leaders to establish best practices, streamline workflows, and optimize team performance.
Provide Agile Guidance: Serve as a mentor and guide for team members in Agile principles, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum practices and Agile values.
Remove Obstacles: Identify and help resolve any impediments that may impact the team's ability to complete tasks, thus enabling high-quality deliverables.
Foster a Collaborative Environment: Build and maintain a positive team environment, encouraging open communication, teamwork, and accountability.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Encourage the team to continuously refine processes, incorporate feedback, and improve overall effectiveness.
Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between team members and stakeholders to communicate project progress, changes, and expectations effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Scrum Master: Proven experience in a Scrum Master role, ideally at a senior level, facilitating Agile methodologies and fostering productive team environments.
Agile Coaching Experience (Preferred): Experience coaching teams on Agile practices is a plus but not required.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership, providing clear updates and fostering a positive environment.
Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve obstacles that impact project progress.
Leadership & Teamwork: Strong team-building skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams towards shared goals.
