Join our team as a Scrum Master, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming IT service delivery with a focus on Agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with senior managers to enhance our product development and strategy through Agile frameworks, business analysis, and coaching.
In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to help design a tailored Agile model and support individuals in adopting it. You'll also implement change management principles and organizational design strategies to facilitate effective transitions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, story grooming, and engaging retrospectives.
- Train newly appointed Product Owners on Agile values, frameworks, and tools.
- Assist in creating sprint reviews and demos to showcase team achievements.
- Guide the writing of user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and other key story elements.
- Support the Product Owner with story prioritization and backlog management.
- Work towards increasing team velocity and enhancing sprint capacity.
- Mentor and coach clients in Agile/Scrum best practices.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Agile frameworks in IT projects and products.
- Proven success in translating business requirements into technical solutions, designs, and roadmaps.
- Experience in presenting to and coaching team members and/or clients.
- Excellent facilitation skills, particularly in requirements gathering and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Trello.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing client needs.
- At least one relevant certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) or higher.
- A strong interest in developing your consulting skills and taking on additional responsibilities.
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years of experience working with federal clients.
- 1+ years in a DevOps environment.
- Experience leading organizational design or change management initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud services, cloud migration, ticketing support systems, and hardware upgrade cycles in an IT setting.
Superstar Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the IRS or government sector.
- Current, active IRS or TREAS Public Trust suitability background investigation.
- Active MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) clearance for U.S. Government Public Trust.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
