Position Overview:
As the Sales and Business Development Leader, you will be the catalyst for our sales efforts and business expansion. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including direct sales, sales management, sales operations, business development, and growth leadership. You will collaborate closely with our executive team to craft our sales strategy, build a top-performing sales team, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities (In descending order of time allocation):
Direct Sales (Primary focus):
Lead the charge in generating new business, converting inbound leads, and managing the sales funnel from start to finish.
Engage actively at every stage of the sales process, from initial contact through contract signing, payment collection, and a smooth handoff to fulfillment and customer service.
Business Development:
Seek out and pursue various partnership opportunities, such as lead generation, co-branding, white-label, enterprise, and referral partnerships.
Meet business development objectives alongside direct sales and revenue goals.
Cross-Sales/Up-Sales:
Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within our current client base.
Develop and implement processes and automations to support an ongoing cross-sales program.
Sales Operations:
Work with the marketing team to develop and refine sales materials, including pitch decks and brochures.
Enhance the lead/pre-sales experience and optimize data capture throughout the sales funnel.
Support the administration and configuration of HubSpot and other internal sales systems. Experience with HubSpot email campaigns is beneficial.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in sales and business development, ideally in the agency or SaaS sector.
A successful track record of closing sales, managing sales teams, and meeting revenue targets.
Proficiency with CRM systems, especially HubSpot, and experience in sales operations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and partner relationships.
A strategic mindset with the capability to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
Experience in developing partnerships and a strong network in the digital marketing or tech industry is highly desirable.
A robust network in a target industry, particularly within the legal or dental sectors, is a significant advantage.
