Part-Time Full-Stack Developer (Slack/Microsoft Teams applications) at Bondboost.ai - a US-based AI-powered assistant to enhance workplace connections

Their work is to take responsibility for all the major pain points associated with group event planning and organization, which increases participants' satisfaction as well as the likelihood that they will plan another event in the future.

Bondboost.ai creates a group chat to connect together all the interested users. Then it facilitates organization, tracks additional details, and reminds users about the event. We’re looking for a curious and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join as a part-time contributor and help turn the demo into a robust Minimum Viable Product (MVP). You will be responsible for creating an end-to-end Slack/Microsoft Teams application that integrates chatbot functionality and communicates with a custom database. This role is perfect for someone looking for a challenging part-time project with long-term potential.

What will you do?

• Develop and deploy an end-to-end application for Slack and/or Microsoft Teams .
• Integrate chatbot functionality (leveraging APIs such as Google Dialogflow ).
• Design and build a secure and scalable database to store user preferences and activity data.
• Ensure seamless communication between the application , chatbot , and database .
• Collaborate with the founders to align the app’s design and functionality with business goals.
• Provide guidance on technical feasibility, timelines, and resources.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English. Verbal and written skills are a must.
• 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer , preferably in SaaS/software applications, with a track record of full-cycle in front-end, back-end, and database design.
• Proficiency in Back-end, using Node.js , and Express.js .
• Proficiency in Front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant libraries/frameworks such as React.js , and Slack Block kit (Slack App Kit or Microsoft Teams Toolkit).
• Knowledge of workplace collaboration tools and ecosystems (e.g., Slack SDK , Microsoft Teams API ).
• Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS , Azure , or GCP ) for hosting and database management.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proven experience in successfully launching and scaling web applications.
• Experience building applications for Slack/Microsoft Teams, including chatbot integration.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Dialogflow and/or similar NLP frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API development and integration.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Prior experience developing MVPs or startup projects.
• Interest in AI-driven solutions and workplace engagement tools.

Working hours:

To make sure you overlap with the US-based founders, we’ll need you to be ready to be working 4 hours a day anytime between 6 am and 9 pm Pacific Standard Time ( you may check the time difference via the link ).
