Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead a dedicated team, ensuring the security and compliance of our organization's cloud-based systems and services. In this pivotal role, the IT Director will oversee all aspects of FedRAMP compliance, including risk management, security assessments, and continuous monitoring. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and FedRAMP standards, along with strong leadership skills. The IT Director will collaborate with various departments to implement staffing strategies, manage resources, and ensure the overall health and performance of existing production and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee technology operations, including network security, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives and compliance with federal regulations.
Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
Identify opportunities for upgrades, new configurations, or systems improvements.
Lead efforts to achieve and maintain FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST SP-800-171 compliance, including conducting risk assessments, developing security controls, and implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Develop and establish IT policies and systems to support strategies outlined by senior management.
Analyze the technology needs of all departments and recommend solutions to meet business requirements.
Purchase efficient and cost-effective technology equipment and software, while managing the IT budget and reporting on expenditures.
Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet organizational needs and comply with federal regulations.
Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as the CFO, COO, and Sales Team, to develop performance reports and track project outcomes.
Identify and escalate risks or issues to management as necessary.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT system developments, planned investments, and current assets.
Conduct internal investigations related to policy violations or losses, and work with management to implement necessary training or corrective actions.
Assist in emergency management and contingency planning efforts.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of success and growth.
Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
Education, Experience, and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on federal contract compliance.
Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, including FedRAMP and CMMC requirements.
Familiarity with Cognos, Deltek Costpoint, CRM software, and Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
Experience with cloud-based IT infrastructure and services.
Relevant certifications such as COMPTIA+, VMware, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP are highly desirable.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check.
