Company

Position

• Due to the aforementioned growth of the firm, they need an experienced international trade compliance professional
• This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations for importing chemicals from the Asia Pacific region
• This company imports chemicals in drums, totes, and the occasional isotainer
• This person will have a key role in the operations of the firm
• The position is home-office-based based two days a week and office-based for three days a week

Qualifications

• Three or more years of international trade compliance experience is required
• A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• Experience with exports of liquid chemicals from Asia is highly, highly desired
• Experience with US Customs import process is a must
• Familiarity with the preparation of FDA end-use declarations and TSCA status certificates is desired
• The company greatly values intellectual curiosity
• Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
