As a Program Manager for High School Education, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students gain valuable skills in workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Your role will focus on managing and supporting the delivery of programs in high schools, both in-person and virtually, while collaborating with schools, volunteers, and educators to ensure a seamless and high-quality learning experience for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Expansion & Support: Work alongside the Program Team to help grow and enhance the variety of programs offered. Support both in-person and virtual program delivery to schools, adapting to their needs.
Volunteer Training: Lead training sessions for volunteers who will deliver JA programs. Provide guidance and support to ensure that volunteers are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Program Moderation: Actively monitor and assist with program classes, ensuring the highest quality of delivery and student engagement, whether in-person or virtual.
Reporting & Data Management: Prepare and maintain accurate program reports. Update and manage program information within the CRM system to keep data current.
Additional Duties: As needed, contribute to the overall program's success through school and volunteer recruitment efforts, networking, and supporting the execution of various program-related tasks.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment of schools, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
Support Program Directors with Board Committee functions, preparing materials and ensuring smooth meetings and communications.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least one year of experience in business, education, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like SharePoint, MS Teams, and Google Classroom.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a comfort in public speaking.
Ability to facilitate virtual events and adapt to online environments.
Strong presentation and lesson planning skills, including familiarity with curriculum development.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Other Requirements:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role.
Physical demands may include frequent sitting and walking, occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), and the ability to adjust vision for various distances.
