Job Summary
The eCommerce Senior Marketing Technology & Data Consultant will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for Caterpillar's digital platforms, includingParts.cat.com and Cat Central. This role will focus on expanding digital channels, driving customer engagement through email marketing, and enhancing dealer capabilities with personalized email journeys and lead generation tools. The consultant will collaborate across teams to optimize eCommerce marketing performance and support business growth.
What You Will Do - Lead the execution of eCommerce marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and customer engagement on Parts.cat.comand Cat Central
- Develop and optimize email marketing campaigns, expanding digital channels and opportunities for customer engagement
- Drive dealer capabilities through targeted email journeys, PSE lead generation, and other marketing data opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals and improve digital marketing performance
- Analyze marketing data to track KPIs, report on campaign performance, and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Manage vendor relationships for digital marketing tools, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
- Increased channel expansion opportunities - launching push notifications and exploring WhatsApp integration opportunities
- Lead documentation and stakeholder engagement for eCommerce marketing Gen 5 GDS deliverables
- Consult with business partners and dealers on data sharing initiatives, such as Snowflake, to inform and enhance email strategies
- Serve as indirect lead for Email Specialist role, prioritizing workload and key deliverables to achieve roadmap and KPIs
What You Will Have:
Customer Focus : Expertise in understanding customer needs and using insights to enhance eCommerce marketing strategies, particularly in email journeys and lead generation for dealers
Creativity : Strong ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns and explore new channel expansion opportunities to engage customers and drive growth
Effective Communications : Proficient in communicating marketing strategies and results to stakeholders across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and performance
Relationship Management : Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, dealers, and external vendors to support eCommerce marketing goals
Technical Excellence : Knowledge of eCommerce platforms, email automation tools, and digital marketing technologies, with the ability to optimize performance and implement new solutions
Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and lead eCommerce marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on long-term growth and channel expansion
Vendor/Supplier Management : Experience managing external vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns and the implementation of marketing technologies
Digital Marketing : Deep knowledge of digital marketing techniques, particularly email marketing and lead generation, to drive customer engagement and support business growth
Considerations for Top Candidates - Proven ability to drive marketing strategies and optimize eCommerce platforms
- Strong experience with email marketing, channel expansion, and marketing automation tools
- Background in digital marketing or eCommerce strategy, with a focus on lead generation and customer engagement

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
