The LEAD Marine team aims to build trusting partnerships with candidates seeking long term opportunities in the ship building and repair industries nationwide. $25.00/hour plus $100.00 per diem

1st shift

Our client is hiring an experienced crane operator with experience working fast paced construction or equipment facilities moving construction material and equipment in the San Diego, CA area. Candidates will have an opportunity to work long term with a stable work schedule.

-Responsibilities: 

1. Operate mechanical boom and cable cranes to lift and move materials, machines or products in many directions on an industrial, commercial and agricultural site.
2. Interpret and follow all signals and work within the safety requirements. 
3. Complete daily and weekly inspections and maintenance reports. Must adhere to all safety protocols and work in a drug free environment. 
4. Must know instrument and control panels.

-Requirements: 

1. Must have at last 5 years of experience operating 90- 160 ton all Telescoping Boom RT crane. Also experience on Portal cranes, Lattice Boom Friction cranes made by Link Belt, Leihber or Manitowoc a big plus.
2. Current NCCCO or NCCER crane operator card required. 
3. Experience operating in a shipyard or other industrial, construction site required.
4. Ability to read and interpret load charts.
